Very interesting list.
Blackberry's? Must have been the reason TT chose the myth over a legend!
Anybody else think coach O is too stupid & giddy to recruit. Guess we'll see in the coming years..........that is if he can manage to keep his job!

Good article. Been an Alabama fan all my life have never heard of Ron Ianello, ND recruiting coordinator as a Bama assistant, unless he was a graduate assistant at some time. I pretty much agree with their Top 10 with the exception of Orgeron, don't care if he is a great recruiter he will never win enough at Ole Miss and recruiting at Ole Miss ain't like recruiting at Southern Cal. This article simply reflects the current success of each of those programs. When you are a high profile team that is winning you can attract the 4 and 5 star recruits. Like it or not there is a high correlation between being a top tier team and your recruiting success. We have a long way to go to get there but are on the right road.

At the American Football Coaches Association national convention next month in Dallas, one of the hot topics will be how each school's recruiting class is shaping up. But a select group of coaches will be able to crow a little more because their individual efforts have tremendously helped their school out.
