I personally believe that USF could enjoy the same success that Miami did in the Big East including BCSCG shots with the right coach. Is Holtz that coach? I don't know.

I am thoroughly impressed with Skip Holtz as a HC. He really impressed me in his game against Arkansas...he wins with a very strong D and a nice running game. He's also a very classy guy as well. I think this guy could do big things at the right program. This would be an excellent hire for USF and Skip Holtz and I will now root for USF in most games.

Agree. Bigger stage to perform on but still a relatively easy conference to win in consistently.

it's only a bigger stage because of the bcs. i've had a lifelong relationship with ecu through family and friends. it would be a great place to play and a good coach could long-term make them the real deal. the fans are terrific, the town is cool and hilariously fun, the university is huge, and you're close to the beach. if holtz stuck around he could turn them into a bcs buster. but who can blame him for taking a job with an automatic qualifier?
