I know it sounds disgusting but anyone that has strapped on the headgear knows exactly what Im talking about. The way to beat UF is to hit them so hard all the other guy does is blow snot bubbles out of his nose. When Leak runs that option we need to make sure he gets up looking out of his ear hole! Now for the UF folks checking our posts, I dont mean dirty play, I mean good hard hitting football! They are a talent group, but no one has hit them all year. Its time to get back to the basics and stick people!!! Roll Tide!!!!

I have a younger brother that played football for about 12 straight years.

In '77 he was a junior at Pelham (in '77 Pelham didn't have a senior class) and they were playing Shelby County. Right before the half, he went out on a little tight end hook pattern and the play went the other way. As he was watching the play the safety came up and literally knocked the snot out of him.

He played the second half, but he was not very effective. Pelham lost that game.

I agree

and my hs coach preached the same thing. I never asked what it was until I got pumped in a practice and started hitting harder than ever. And then it happened, after a WR came across on a post I laid him out and I saw what a snot bubble lick was. Incredible.

We need the same sort of intensity on every play. With that intensity, we cannot lose.

Somethin tells me Demeco, Freddie and Roman, to name a few, will be laying on a couple "snot-bubble" hits this weekend!

Man, will Saturday ever get here?
