Hosting yet again as the 14 seed, helped by a top 16 RPI. On paper, should win and travel to Rocky Top to face 3 seed UT.

I guess there was something to the SEC this year. All 13 teams are in the tournament, including 8 host regionals. I'm hoping BAMA and the SEC can make a big splash this year.

If our bats don’t pick up we won’t make it to Knoxville. We definitely need some new blood. I would have hired Gasso’s son away from Utah. I doubt he’d leave Arkansas now unless it’s for a HC job.

BAMA ekes out a 1-0 victory over SCUS. We scored our 1 run in the bottom of the 6th. Jenna Johnson had a one-out single, then stole second. A single, (forgot who), brought her in to score.

Bryski had a no-hitter going into the 7th inning. She got one out, then gave up a single to left. She was replaced by Beaver, who also gave up a single, but then got a double play to end the game.

I think we had 7 hits, but they were all over the place and we never threatened until we finally scored.

In other news, Southeast LA upset Clemson in game 1 so BAMA will play Southeastern tomorrow at 2pm.

I continue to be impressed with Briski. A true freshman, with a season of SEC play under her belt, I think she can take over from The Beav in 2025 as the Ace. Now, go get two more very good pitchers and have a true STAFF

Well, I missed today's game as I didn't know they moved the start time to 10:30am. Been without power for a couple of days due to the Thursday night weather. My neighborhood was apparently in the wrong place for this storm as two of my neighbors had trees thru the roof. Power is back now! BAMA takes a 6-3 win over Southeastern, but it was 1-1 after regulation. Beaver went the distance. We scored 5 runs in the top of 9th, including a 2 run dinger by Valentine. Southeastern scored 2 in the bottom, so BAMA got the victory. Our lack of regulation hitting could have easily bit us in the butt today, but Beaver kept them off the board. I'm still amazed that we found a way to score five runs in 1 inning! We move on to Sunday to face whoever makes it out of today. ROLL TIDE!

While the overall talent level of this team is less than many others since Murph got here, the heart and effort is probably in the top 5. Definitely have a good team chemistry and team seems to like/pull for each other no matter what. Should be in great shape with Briski well rested for tomorrow afternoon and since this is the last ride for The Beav, I imagine she’ll pitch as much as needed.

Why, why, why? B6, we are up 1-0 They have runners on 1st and 3rd. Runner on 1st goes, we throw the ball to 2nd and get the girl in a run down. Chase the girl to 2nd with no one covering 2nd. All of this while the runner from 3rd scores. Now we are tied 1-1 Fundamentals, where are they? somehow we score 5 in the 9th and give up 2. Win 6-3. Beaver pitched the whole game, giving their players more looks at her. This team is painful to watch, but once again I'll be there tomorrow cheering them on. RTR!!!

In today's other T-Town regional games, Clemson got by Carolina Upstate. Don't know yet who we will see tomorrow, but Southeastern is up 6-0 over Clemson after 3 complete.

Southeastern eliminates Clemson. Final was 6-2. BAMA will play Southeastern tomorrow at - I think - 1pm. Hope we bring our A game because Southeastern is making the most of their first ever regional appearance.

Not to mention the baserunning errors in the top of the 9th. Preuitt not running on contact with 2 outs. I don’t know what the heck Heivilin was doing on the play where White scored, she shouldn’t have been in a position to almost get tagged out at 1st base.

Shaky start for Briski and BAMA. Briski walked the lead off, then wild-pitched her to 2nd. SLU bunted her to 3rd, then a single to right brought her in. Briski seemed to settle in after that. We need to score a bunch of runs. 1-0 SLU after their half of the 1st.

BAMA starts the bottom of the 1st with a perfect bunt and a seeing eye infield single, then Cahalan rips one to right to tie things up. Jenna Johnson then bloops a single to center to score the second run. BAMA now up 2-1. Giles drops down a perfect bunt. BAMA now has bases loaded-no outs. Pitching change for SLU. Dowling hits one off the wall in left field - 2 more runs score. Now 4-1 BAMA. We have had six hits in a row so far. Hevelein singles up the middle. Now 5-1 BAMA, still no outs. Valentine singles down the left field line. Now 6-1 BAMA. That's 8 hits in a row. Broadfoot pops out for our first out. Back to the top of the order. White singles to left field. BAMA now has bases loaded, 1 out. Prewitt pops out - 2 down, bases still loaded. Cahalan walks. Now 7-1 BAMA. Johnson singles up the middle, 2 more runs score. Now 9-1 BAMA. Where the hell has this been all year?!?!? Another pitching changes for SLU. Original starter coming back in. Giles flies out to right center. BAMA has 10 hits in the bottom of the 1st, now leads 9-1. That's the most runs we've scored in one inning all year. Let's see if Briski has settled in now. She had to sit for a while.

Another lead off walk by Briski. She's just missing. Single thru the left side, 2 on - no out for SLU. Tight zone by this umpire. Strike out looking! 1 down. Single up the middle scores a run, but we nail the batter trying to take second base. 2 down, runner on 3rd. Now 9-2 BAMA. Ground out to end the inning. Briski is throwing okay, but she seems a little off today. We need to keep scoring runs.

SLU - single to left to start the 3rd inning. They have gotten their lead off on every inning so far. They bunt the runner to second. Originally called safe at first, but changed to out on review. Wasn't even close. Don't know how the ump missed that one. Ground out to second, 2 down, runner on 3rd. Line drive right back to Briski. Inning over. 9-2 BAMA. We need more runs!!
