Pinch hitter Grill K's. White hits high chopper - beats it out. One on, one down. Prewitt singles to center. Two on, one out. Cahalan crushes one to center, but off the base of the wall. Two runs score, Cahalan gets a triple. Now 11-2 BAMA. Johnson hits it hard, but grounds out to 3rd. 2 down, runner on 3rd. Giles singles to right, Cahalan scores. Now 12-2 BAMA. Keep on scoring!! Another pitching change for SLU. Dowling pops to short. 12-2 BAMA after 3 complete.

Briski gets a K to start the inning, then gives up a double. That's followed by a ground out to Briski and a line out to left field. No damage from the double. BAMA up 12-2.

BAMA goes 1-2-3, (3 ground outs), in the bottom of the 4th. BAMA leads 12-2 going to the 5th. Let's see if we can end it here.

Torrence on to pitch for BAMA. Gets a K on the first batter. 1 down. Ground out to short. 2 down. Fly ball to the wall in centerfield - caught by White. BAMA wins the Tuscaloosa Regional!!!!

We did something today that I don't think I've seen all year. SLU gets a run in the top of the 1st, and it looks like they have all of the momentum. Instead, we opened the biggest can of whoop-ass I think I've ever seen a BAMA softball team do by scoring 9 runs in the bottom of the first. Just an amazing response from the ladies. I'm assuming we will be off to Knoxville, and I hope we can make a good showing there. Alabama - 2024 Tuscaloosa Regional Champions!!!

Winning a regional is an accomplishment for this team. I truly mean it.

Extremely proud of this team and happy for them. I’m sure they hear the chirping and certainly they realize their offensive offense. But, they found a way to get it done and today the bats looked like so many of those WCWS teams over the past 20 years.
We should know the Vols inside and out and while the safe bet would be Tennessee to take 2 of 3, if Beaver and Briski can pitch like this, who knows.

Not to mention the baserunning errors in the top of the 9th. Preuitt not running on contact with 2 outs. I don’t know what the heck Heivilin was doing on the play where White scored, she shouldn’t have been in a position to almost get tagged out at 1st base.

Fundamental, just pure fundamentals! For some reason our 2B & SS want to go halfway to the fence to catch a ball when the OFers can make the catch much easier. On a full count with 2 outs. Our runner on first is looking at the batter. High pop ups in the middle of the infield SS or 2B should call off the pitcher.

Gonna be tough. Tennessee has a team that can win it all. Top 4 teams Texas, Oklahoma, Tennessee & Florida. Who do you pull for? #5 OK State ace pitcher and SS are transfers from Bama.
