any time I find myself taking a flight a stairs at anything slightly more than a walk I hum the Rocky theme to myself....a bit strange I know but it just seems natural

Hells Bells is very good for a stadium (hear a lot of NFL teams using it) and Van Halen's Right Now

and does anybody know why the university did not use the song Southern Comfort this year....country song that's not really a stadium song but it does a line that goes "sleepy sweet home Alabama, Roll Tide Roll"....not sure who sings it

When I was in Iraq, our Psyops people would blair "Hair of the Dod" by Nazarith as we were kicking in doors. The faces that those poor people made were satisfying enough.

Our theme song for the football team in '89 was "I'm Bad!" from LL Cool J.

I've always wanted to do the intro for the Thrashers here in Atlanta and since I used to play hockey, NOTHING would get me pumped up during skate-a-round more than Pink Floyd's "One of These Days" Builds real slowly with a killer bass line then just ROCKS OUT after he says "one of these days I'm going to cut you into little pieces" Kinda gruesome but it would make me want to hit somebody!
 
well our high school colors were black and gold....so "Back in Black" by AC/DC fit in good....

"Fuel" and "For Whom the Bell Tolls" by Metallica also worked well for pumping us up

LOL! I'm sorry... I laugh every time I hear about that song. Anyone who watches "Arrested Development" would know why(Long story short - GOB, a very bad magician, uses this as his theme music. It's also his ring tone on his cell phone. If you don't watch Arrested Development, you are missing out.) It's one of those songs that get routinely voted as the worst song ever made, yet I can't get it out of my head.

and when you say everbody should know them it is imperative that YOU know them....its not Lynard Skynard....its Lynyrd Skynyrd
 
Wow i cant believe nobody has put this yet... (at least the ones ive read so far anyways) ...but obviously 'Sweet Home Alabama' by Lynyrd Skynyrd! and yeah well i am a girl so i do like Christina Aguilera so i would have to say her song 'Fighter'

I can't believe "For Those About to Rock" by AC/DC. In fact, almost any of AC/DC's songs fit.

Also "Excitable" by Def Leopard.

Theme from movie Crimson Tide...Hans Zimmer I think.

And Rocky Top. It makes me want to hit their QB, RB, band leader, and then kick Smokey for good measure.
