Spring Practice Predictions

I think you can pencil in Dylan Moses and Patrick Surtain and other than that it should be a fight for every other position. We were not very good on D last year and we all know the main reason why. I expect big improvements if Mr. Moses stays healthy.

Those are the only two Money players I see, assuming they somehow make it to the opener, which would require a titanic turn of luck for us.

I'm mostly excited to start hearing about Bryce Young and the defense. I think Mac will run away with the job honestly but I'm excited to see if Bryce can prove me wrong.

I'm really excited about seeing how the running backs respond. Such a talented backfield but only so many touches to go around, even if we pass less than the last couple of years.
Yep, you know Sark is scheming ways of getting these guys the ball in space...wheel route, split wide, something and very often.

People need to pump their brakes on Bryce......
I agree with you actually. Months ago this board was way too fixed on the kid coming in and taking over. My thought then was, "don't sleep on Lia." which is where I still am to a certain extent. Mac will make us proud but, as Moon explained, if this kid does end up winning the job - WATCH OUT.

We already know what Najee is all about...as a runner and receiver...now we get to really see what the hype with Trey Sanders is all about. My understanding was last year he was ready to contribute as a true freshman before the injury. If that's true, with a year in the system and healthy, I think we are going to be real happy with the running backs!

Dig that. I think the staff realized at the end of the season that we should have been feeding Najee way more often. Praying he stays healthy and surpasses 1000 yards + next season.

I think Trey eventually is our #2 RB. He gives us the big run threat that Najee and Brian do not give us. The RB group will possible be the strength of the team.

Reactions: The Ols
Looking forward to see what changes happen on the O line. I watched one particular O lineman a lot last year and he missed enough blocks to build a two car garage. I would like to see more speed coming off the ball and hope the new strength coaches can help in that area.

I believe Mac will be very good for us next year. He knows the system and also is a pretty accurate passer and with the running backs we have will only add fire to our offense.

Not yet, but al.com says he is not practicing and has not been with the team in a while
Just checked. He's not on the roster...didn't know that this was even a thing? 🤷‍♂️
Bent that McMillon came back?

Most eyes will be on Bryce Young. I expect Mac Jones to get the nod for the opener but Young could very well become the starter sometime during the season. I think the UGA game will be pivotal as to who ultimately wins out at QB. I'm also excited to see what Trey Sanders can do. I expect him to make a big contribution.

Everyone ahead of him is coming back. Benton played very well at times last year, especially in coverage.

Could be that mcmillon and moses came back, but also likely has a lot to do with the fact that coming into the 2019 season when he was a third year player, he got passed on the depth chart by two true freshman, one of which had never even played LB before.
