TUSCALOOSA, AL – Alabama baseball returned to Sewell-Thomas Stadium for its first full-team practice of the spring on Friday. The Crimson Tide spent 90 minutes practicing before an intrasquad scrimmage closed out the afternoon.

"It was great to get out on the field and scrimmage today," said head coach Brad Bohannon. "Our guys have been training hard since the fall. I feel like we're at the point where we need innings and at-bats, and that will be our primary focus these next three weekends."

The Crimson Tide will return to the diamond on Saturday morning before taking Sunday off due to the weather. The Saturday schedule begins at 11 a.m. CT with a 12:30 p.m. first pitch for the intrasquad.

Admission to Alabama baseball's on-field activity is free to the public. Fans are asked to enter Sewell-Thomas Stadium through the main gate (Gate 3) located directly behind home plate. Once inside, fans are to stay in the lower bowl seating area with access to the upper levels of the stadium strictly prohibited.

Updates and changes to practice times or complete cancellations due to weather can be accessed via Twitter (@AlabamaBSB) or on the Crimson Tide's Facebook page.
