Half of us have been saying this for two years.Bryce and Will had no business playing in that game, I’m glad they did but you just proved my point.
Milroe is QB3 at best, so why would he not play? Like if you don’t want him to play because you think he sucks then just be honest and say that.
But to just ban a player from playing in a bowl game for non-disciplinary reasons as if he’s the sole reason that Alabama is 9-3 is, I don’t know.
It’s still the 2024 season, and the 2024 team should be able to finish however they want.Short term gains can lead to long term failures. Sometimes it is wise to sacrifice today for a greater future.
This is about doing what is best for the whole team. What they want and need are two different things. If we knew the truth it might surprise us who the team would want to start at QB.It’s still the 2024 season, and the 2024 team should be able to finish however they want.
Ask again in two weeks. I do expect some of Young WRs to see playing time.Alright, let's start focusing on the future. For those close to the program, what changes should we expect to see across starting positions for the bowl game?
Aside from transfers out, will DeBoer focus on winning this game, or will he focus on player development for 2025?
Thoughts?
Agree, but CKD isn't naming next year's starter until August...Very true. He deserves a shot, but he will have to play well to win the job.
That was from a fake accountNote to Future B1GTide: Milroe is coming back
YesWill Keelon be an early enrollee?
Sorry if I don’t base my opinion on internet rumors. This team has earned the right to go out on their own terms. I’d love nothing more than to see a fully loaded Bama team wear out someone in the bowl game to make a point. I'd give Michigan stuff they have never seen if I couldIf I’m CKD I’m considering installing some of my true concepts and running those plays.
Think I posted this in the recruiting thread about KR, but Kyle Henderson thinks he may win the job next year.
He definitely has a high ceilingThink I posted this in the recruiting thread about KR, but Kyle Henderson thinks he may win the job next year.
Having the whole spring to get acclimated will be huge for his development.
Speaking of that, when I watch a video of him, he looks like a real QB. Great footwork, throw first mentality and only run if he has to.
We will find out tomorrow, he and Booker have pre planned meetings with DeBoer.I would think so
I don’t think everybody is implying that 99.9% of the problems are Milroe but let’s be real:I'll leave it at this. It's not criticism, it's constant bashing. 99.9% of the problems on the team is Milroe? Come on, that's completely untrue. Does he have problems, sure. This is a frustrating team but it's not just Milroe. I've said my piece and it won't change a thing.
Half of the offensive possessions against vandy were 3 and out putting the d back on the field with little to no time to rest or adjust, plus a pick six and another TO that was 100 percent on JMWell I know YOU dont like Milroe like you have a personal vendetta against him so of course I expect you to put 99.9% of the blame on him.
The Tennessee and OU losses? Sure, put that on him, but last time I checked, the defense couldn’t stop a New Mexico State QB back in October.
KR looks looks like the real deal, but it's a big ask to start as a true freshman as a QB. Neither, Tua nor Bryce did, and while Hurts did, I really think it hurt his long term development. I hope one of the guys on the roster earns the spot and give KR a season to ramp up like Tua and bryce had and if KR is that good maybe he plays a good bit like Tua did.Think I posted this in the recruiting thread about KR, but Kyle Henderson thinks he may win the job next year.
