So how improbable is it that Ron will see immediate playing time? I have seen him mature for 4 years at John Carroll. With the loss of the "heart"-Pettway, I feel he can contribute right away? Do you disagree, agree, unsure?

Think Mo Williams 3 years ago. Ron WILL be the starter from day 1! He is the real deal, just as Mo was.

I have no reason to believe Steele won't be a major factor in the season. Let's still don't forget about Lakori Daniels. CMG thought this guy had a chance at pushing Pettway last season. While Steele is the future apparently, Glenn Miles and Alert Weber can play the one, too.

No doubt that Steele will be our starting PG next season IMO. Steele is only a few TRUE PG's around. Miles, & Weber are a lot like Mo, a scoring guard. Not to say that Mr Steele is not going to score, but you better believe he will dish the rock.

I think Steele has the ability to be much better than Mo because he shoots the ball much better. He also seems to know the game very well and knows where to get the ball in order to set others up. He is all about winning, at least that is how it seemed the times I got to see him play. He is a very solid all around player. I think he starts from day one unless some of the aforementioned players have improved.
