I've been reading it Juh-may-iss.How does he pronounce his first name? I've heard several variations.

As I said before Jameis wants to play football. He considers himself a football player first and loves UA and CNS. His family has always been football first too. But recently with the talks of his potential in baseball some of the family has changed their minds. It will be interesting to see what choice he ultimately makes.
Interesting. In that latest BOL article, he almost made it seem like there was no question he was going to play football. You're saying that's not the case, though?
I guess no one should be surprised, especially after seeing how Zach Lee basically used LSU as leverage to get way more money from the Dodgers.
I'm not saying it won't happen. I fully expect him to commit to Bama with every intention of following through with it. But his family is starting to understand the money he may be turning down to play football. I don't know which school of thought will win out in the end but you can't blame the kid for playing baseball when he gets a seven figure contract offer. I hope he and his family maintain their early stance that Jameis WILL go to college.
2 syllables: Jame-iss

By the way, I was at the game last night against Pelham and without getting into too many specifics, this kid is the real deal. Big-time arm, big-time mobility, very accurate, smart, great leadership skills. He is everything you want in a QB...and he's only a junior. There are concerns about him going to the MLB draft (he hit .429 with 7 HRs as a sophomore; he's a switch hitter and he obviously has great speed and a cannon for an arm - a legit 5-tool player in baseball). Big Tide fan though...I definitely like our chances if he's the guy CNS wants. He lined up at WR a couple of time and caught a 25 yard fade...he could easily play WR in college IMO. But he has the tools to be a big-time QB.
Ya, you never know what will happen when a multi-million dollar deal is at your fingertips. That said, he did state in the BOL article that his dream is to be a QB at a D-1 program. He also wants to play baseball in college as well so that the option is still there. I guess we'll see.
Don't mean to be negative here but he's starting to sound a lot like Terrel Pryor. Dual QB who could also play WR? Is he a great passer or just a good passer?
I was at the game. He passes the ball with accuracy. Had one pass that went 60 yards in the air hit his receiver right in the hands but was dropped.
I had a barner tell me at the game that he was looking to play baseball at Miami. Everytime I have gone home I have been told that he wants to play baseball also wherever he goes.
Wishful thinking. If he goes to college for any sport - he is a Bama lock.

Why I mentioned that it was a barner. I figured that they just didn't like the fact that he will most likely go to Bama. I will say, from all the talk around Hueytown that I have been given, he is not a lock. He is definitely a strong lean but there are a few concerns.
I can only imagine that those are related to him being able to play baseball at Alabama.
