So far, Caleb Downs is staying at Bama. Apparently T'Rob was looking around before Saban's announcement. Last night he met with the new coach but was not given an answer. This will hurt our recruiting and yes, some players will leave because T'Rob did. Hopefully Caleb Downs stays for sure.

I think our offense will be fine with the offensive staff he is bringing with him. Defense is the issue for me.

You don’t go co DC at Georgia over DC at Alabama. He either wasn’t offered, or didn’t believe in the new coach. Isn’t Kirby the dean of the SEC now?

I hope those thinking about leaving at least speak with CLD and Saban before making their decision. If after that they leave they are officially the opposition and I hope when we play them we make them regret it ten fold.

I think we've hired the right guy to take into this new landscape of CFB and those that don't need to get off the bus and we need get those that do on the bus.

That's exactly what I would like to think. I can certainly dream can't I. Question, probably a dumb one but I just never really thought about it. Do coordinators at major universities have agents just like these head coaches? If so maybe he's been contacted, through the blessings of our new head coach. Wishful thinking

Here is the thing…. We are going to lose some guys that we feel are irreplaceable. But once they start to see the backs of our receivers jerseys then they will regret their decision to leave.
