Tammy from Paul Finebaum show killed in car wreck.

I bet SEC Nation will do something special for the Iron Bowl. Seeing pictures from the wreck, my prayer is that they didn't suffer. It was horrific. Prayers to all of Tammy's family and friends and also the driver of the truck.

Whether we admit it or not, I would hazard a guess that many, if not most, on this board have listened to PF`s show at some time. We all knew Tammy. As outrageous as she was at times, Tammy was a fixture in the Alabama/Auburn dynamic and a celebrity in her own right. In a way, we`ll miss Tammy. RIP Auburn girl.

I always enjoyed listening to Tammy when I occasionally listened to Finebaum & she would be talking..

Tammy was passionate about college football & we all can relate to that passion cause we all have that passion..Plus..She was funny arguing with Paul or with rival fans..

RIP Tammy..

Report said the truck blew a tire. Hard to predict things like that but big trucks need constant maintenance. The other problem with roads today is people just don't pay attention or don't care about others on the road. There is a lot of stupid on the road today.
Highways are getting more dangerous. There are more and more big trucks everyday.
We all die, but I have always been brought down by the fact that so many die on the highways, oftentimes painfully.

Re-treads shouldn’t be street legal. That would cut down on a lot of blow outs

RIP to Tammy.
I don't keep up with that show much any more...but it seems like Phyllis and Mildred, both Bama fans with strong opinions and prone to rants, are also deceased.

Unless Phyllis from Mulga died in the past month, she is very much alive and kicking! She was ripping James Carville on PF Show a few weeks ago.

I drove 700 miles yesterday to and from the game. It was farther than usual because I met my daughter at Exit 46 on I-65 in Tennessee. I left my house at 3:30 AM. On I-40 in the early hours there were more trucks than cars. As the sun came up traffic started getting heavy. Cars travel 70-90 mph, trucks 6-65. Trucks bottleneck the cars and it just gets more dangerous.

I’m so sorry to hear about Tammy. She said before the Cam bowl she would run naked around Bryant Denny if AU lost. She was certainly a character. I’m very sorry for her family’s loss and offer prayers for them. RIP.

Love to hate each other but, damn. No one wants to hear about a grandma and her youngin dying. God bless.

I've never heard her as a caller, but unless I'm mistaken, I've never listened to one minute of Finebaum.

That doesn't diminish how this impacts me in any way, however - this is a terrible accident. Truly crushing.

I gave up listening to Finebaum years ago as well. I felt at times it appealed to the lowest common denominator in people.

That said, I do remember Tammy along with others from the early years. What you found out is the stuff the callers did on the show was mostly just “schickt”. Off the air, most had great affinity for each other.

No one should have to bury a child, much less your mother was well at the same time.

Very sad indeed. The last hour of Finebaum’s show yesterday was dedicated to Tammy’s memory.

May she Rest In Peace and heartfelt prayers for her family and those grieving.

This. I've said for years Tammy and the handful of other regulars over the years were simply "in character" or "playing a role". I know the SEC Network has interviewed them or I've seen video of several of these people (on youtube maybe) "off air" and "out of character". They aren't as at the bottom of the social barrel as they play on the Finebaum show. It's a "schickt" and it has served Finebaum very well.

All that being said. My thoughts and prayers out to Tammy's family and all involved.

The accident was right by my house. It was awful.

I’ve met Tammy a couple of times because she has a lot of family in the area. The Finebaum character is just that. She was a really nice person, and she loved to cut up with everyone. A lot of people around Childersburg are tore up about it because many knew her on a personal level.

Rip Tammy.
