usually, the first rule when you find yourself in a hole is to stop digging. but in this case, i realize that you may be digging an escape route to get away from those physically aggressive ladies
 
Guys, please don't get this thread closed again because we're getting off the track once again.

Does anyone know if Kiffin has made up his mind about his staff so far?

You miss understand. I am not saying someone should wail on a woman. What I am saying is if a woman puts herself in a man's place she should be treated as such. This woman punch a man in the face. He tried to stop her but she kept on and she got what she got.

Don't know if has been discussed but Lane Kiffin reportedly will make Wilson Love his Strength and Conditioning coach.

yeah, i used to hear that a lot from guys when i was growing up. didn't buy it then and don't now. but that's just me.

in this instance, dude's a division 1 football player. you either grab her arms to keep her from hitting you or you get up and walk away. at least on the surface, it seems like he's learned from the incident.

I'm going to make this one comment and then this thread must go back to Kiffin. The dilemma of when to lash out on a woman will have to go to NS. In my view - and it the view of the vast majority, including the law - is that even a blow by smaller weaker person never justifies assault and battery - NEVER. I just don't understand. I guess it would have been OK under that theory to slug a 10 year old kid. He got what he deserved - a summary dismissal. Now, no more here. Take it to the NS board. I'll start a thread over there...

I think Mac is going to be in a serious fight with these 2nd tier Florida programs getting serious recruiters. Mac in the past 2 years hasn't had a top 10 recruiting class, and is currently at 19th. Zook had the 5th best nationally in 2004. Kiffin, Davis, and Strong coming to Florida may have been the worst things for Mac's recruiting strategy. No I'm not suggesting that those 3 are going to steal 5 star recruits from Florida, but they may take that 3 star that Mac wants for down the line.

Won't be enough to go around, plus Strong will be able to recruit Texas as well.

Mac has a recruiting problem period. He's not going to beat FSU under Jimbo Fisher in recruiting...so he certainly can't afford the in-state also-rans making a push at athletes.
 
...there's a distinct possibility that all the Florida football programs could suffer. There's a ton of talent in the state, but not enough to make all those programs hugely successful. They could actually start cannibilizing each other.
So, ironically, the advantage would go to the recruiter who can bring in talent from outside of Florida, and that advantage, to me, would lean towards, Strong, Kiffin,and Richt.
