Yeah, BUT when the moron operating those videos plays it WHEN WE HAVE THE BALL IN OUR OWN END ZONE ON ABOUT THE 1 YARD LINE it's really NOT the right time...ugh...that was pretty embarrassing...

Its to start the 4th quarter. Its urging the fans to FINISH. To make the 4th quarter ours. Doesn't matter where we are or who has the ball.

if that's the case...they waited too late and did it RIGHT as we were coming up to the ball. There was PLENTY of time to do it during the TV time out if that was truly the intention.

I think it was just someone not knowing what they're doing.

When else would they have played it? They play the "Finish The Game" video at the start of the timeout. The crowd got loud for the video and then when the offense broke the huddle they got quite. I see no problem there.

I love it when this is the kind of thing we have disagreements on.:rolleye2:

I know a lot of LSU fans who would LOVE to have this kind of non-issue to bicker over.:biggrin2:

They played it for a few mins don't remember exactly when,no pun intended I just love the message hes giving!!!! Ro:BigA::BigA: Tide

Well, it was kinda bush-league on the part of our AV folks. We had just had a drive starting deep in our own territory earlier in the game when GMac had to turn and ask for quiet in the end zone.

Would have been better to wait until the first UF possession of the 4th quarter.

Still, true to the football knowledge of our fans, the stadium got quiet VERY quickly even after cheering for the Cochran video.

Besides, what else are we going to complain about? :)

I don't see the problem. I was actually amazed at how fast the crowd got quiet. The quietest moment in the stadium all night was when everyone realized that we were on offense. It was great.

We have the smartest fans in the game. Anyone ever been to Starkville? They ring their cowbells as loud on offense as they do on defense. They've got no clue what they're doing.

I'm sorry but only a complete knucklehead would think it's OK to have the stadium in a 130 decibel uproar when we're backed up to our end zone approaching the ball. Since it's obvious you never played football, QUIET is the desired motif when calling signals. Are you in the band or something?

If you are trying to call a play in the huddle.....AFTER you have had a SEVERAL minutes on the sidelines during the quarter break where the crowd was SILENT you are either dumb, Les Miles, or both.

Hopefully the play call is not the issue. However, any audibling would be, as well as being able to hear the snap count, especially backed up on your own goal line where there's no margin for error.

While that's true, it still does not change the fact that once the offense came out on the field, the crowed became silent.
