Exactly. They are supporting corruption and incompetence. If those are their values, they have no credibility as far as I am concerned. Your mileage may vary, of course.
Exactly what I would say about a large number of Biden appointees as far as I am concerned. Your mileage may vary, of course.

Roughly one-third of the company was affected by the layoffs, a Washington Post spokesperson said.

“The Washington Post is taking a number of difficult but decisive actions today for our future, in what amounts to a significant restructuring across the company," the spokesperson told NBC News.

Hi @JeffBezos, what you did today to the Washington Post is a monstrosity. It should be criminalized. Maybe Amazon is a shopping mall, Blue Origin a travel agency, but the Post isn’t a utility. It’s a legacy, a piece of history, an American institution. If you don’t respect that and can’t be trusted to sustain it, you should hand it over to someone who does.

This right here underscores why these Marxists hate Capitalism so much. They hate that no one is buying their propogandist drivel and why that actually matters.

Bernie Sanders: If Jeff Bezos could afford to spend $75 million on the Melania movie & $500 million for a yacht to sail off to his $55 million wedding to give his wife a $5 million ring, please don't tell me he needed to fire one-third of the Washington Post staff.
Democracy dies in oligarchy.

Any business facing millions in losses will do two things simultaneously: work to expand sales and to reduce costs.

However, to do that, the Post must return to a journalism that most people want and value, rather than an echo chamber for MS NOW viewers.

Once again, the management is trying to save the Post from itself. It is trying to return the newspaper to profitability, but these editors have faced continual resistance from reporters who would prefer to lose their jobs than their bias. The same drama is playing out at CBS and CNN recently.

The Washington Post has always had an outsized reputation as a news organization, thanks largely to the fact they brought down a President. For all the "this should have been the end" regarding Trump (almost all of it legitimate), WaPo should have gone under when they had to return the Pulitzer for the made up story about the crack baby.

Former WaPo writers warned that despite their often cheery songs, birds are, in fact, deeply racist. "Bird racism is the challenge of our epoch, and we have chosen failure," said journalist Mollie Bart. "This is racism metaphorically and literally taking flight. We are talking about flying racism, and now we have silenced the one voice that was speaking out. The generations to come will look back and judge us for this grave mistake."

The HuffPost even published an article with therapeutic advice for liberals triggered by seeing so many American flags. The liberal publication ran an article titled “There’s a Name for the Discomfort You’re Feeling Watching the Olympics Right Now.” It then published it a second time before the gold-medal hockey game with Canada — presumably to prepare its readers for the nightmare of the United States actually winning.

The subheading read, “If waving the American flag or chanting ‘USA!’ turns you off right now, you’re not alone.”

Living as we do in a nation of easily-triggered idiots, I can't say this sort of thing really surprises me....until it does anyway. This is the sort of thing that encourages loons on both sides to openly call for the next civil war (something that would end badly for the betas who think video games have properly prepared them for trench warfare.) Personally, I don't have time for watching the Olympics, but I am always pleased when the U.S. represents well.
