The ERA had a seven year time limit that wasn’t met so it expired even after a three year extension.

I agree with Selma if there had been some long dead amendment favored by conservatives that Trump declared valid the national media (and many on here) would be erupting in laughter.

I just put it on the inauguration and wasn’t paying attention to what channel it was going to. It went to msnbc and good lord it was nothing but “the election was misogynistic, mlk would be ashamed, Trump is a felon, I fear for our country, and Vance and Trump is the worst”. I mean I’m like “why are you even covering it live if all you are going to do is talk how horrible it is to watch this…

It’s called giving your audience what they want. I’m watching this on News Nation. My wife was watching it on CNN and Jake Tapper was starting to tick her off, so I changed it.

I get your point because it gets tiring after awhile but it was the truth.

I mean I don’t like Trump, and I more have to watch it for my job, but good grief it’s just too much wine without some cheese. Take a few shots and then go to actual reporting. ABC is doing a much more balanced job.

I get it, but it’s a live event and not an opinion or reaction piece. A few shots here and there is okay but to use every second to make an attack is just too much. I’m sure FOX does it too when Biden and Obama were inaugurated so I’m not saying it’s one sided, I’m just tired of this nonsense that passes as news and political commentary.

Watching on CBS. They have been pretty straightforward and just presenting what is happening and not making political commentary.

Look, I don’t like the guy, but the WH didn’t back off anything - Colombia caved, quick and fast, when Trump made clear he wasn’t screwing around. Love or hate him, call it fair.

This was a win for the Trump Doctrine.
