The Decline of the DNC IV

  • HELLO AGAIN, Guest! We are back, live! We're still doing some troubleshooting and maintenance to fix a few remaining issues but everything looks stable now (except front page which we're working on over next day or two)

Thanks for your patience and support! MUCH appreciated! --Brett (BamaNation)

if you see any problems - please post them in the Troubleshooting board!

As a registered Democrat, why is it so difficult for our
@DNC to say:

“We have a MASSIVE problem with having normalized dystopian revolutionaries as if they were liberals, utopians or even progress oriented. We have a violence, intolerance and terror problem posing as a compassion solution. We have a dissent problem where we are not supposed to point out the hate in our hymnal. This chases away every ambitious agentic young man with an IQ > 80. Our normalized revolutionaries are now the only ones with truly bold ideas. We chased away Joe Rogan to ask ‘Where is the @joerogan of the left?’ Who exactly is running the ship here? Is the plan to lose the next several elections to make sure that all 9 justices are appointed by one party? Let’s just admit to the
@DNC Biden cognitive coverup, the election tampering, and the COVID origins coverup…and move on with a *totally* new @DNC leadership based on making life fairer for American Working Families.”

We have an obligation to the country to pull out of this empistemic nosedive into nihilism completely independent of the many problems in the @GOP. Both sides need a loyal opposition.

Well.........here's a take you don't see every day.

Okay, so we lost on economics, we're telling everyone times are bad, polls even show times are bad so what can do......ABORTION!!!! Yes, Johnny, let's go there again!!

Nevada Democrats want to run on abortion in 2026. Will voters care? - The Nevada Independent

And they're running against a guy whose position is 15 weeks, not a ban......

They don't know anything else, folks.

The Democrats are all in a big unsinkable boat... But they seem to repeatedly ram the iceberg...

On purpose.

You know it’s bad when they can’t beat a guy who brings to the office of the presidency all the grace and dignity of Ernest P. Worrell in a haunted house.

Kamala comes out of hiding to promote her book and says that Donald Trump is a "communist dictator."

So apparently, we now have a new thing: The fascist communist! I'll admit that I did not want this cerebral eunuch to be president, but you have to admit, life is funnier when she is behind a microphone. I'm glad she's still around.

Btw, Rick Wilson's mantra "Democrats are terrible at retail politics" continues to be true. Don't know if anyone saw it but Ezra Klein (himself a liberal) made the point recently that one thing Democrats may need to do to win back voters in red states. So let's see what he said:

And the stakes of politics are almost always incredibly high. I think they happen to be higher now. And I do think a lot of what is happening in terms of the structure of the system itself is dangerous. I think that the hour is late in many ways. My view is that a lot of people who embrace alarm don’t embrace what I think obviously follows from that alarm, which is the willingness to make strategic and political decisions you find personally discomfiting, even though they are obviously more likely to help you win.

Taking political positions that’ll make it more likely to win Senate seats in Kansas and Ohio and Missouri. Trying to open your coalition to people you didn’t want it open to before. Running pro-life Democrats. And one of my biggest frustrations with many people whose politics I otherwise share is the unwillingness to match the seriousness of your politics to the seriousness of your alarm. I see a Democratic Party that often just wants to do nothing differently, even though it is failing—failing in the most obvious and consequential ways it can possibly fail.

And, of course, he picked the one issue that the sex-obsessed left CANNOT let go even the tiniest little bit. Now to be fair, you have to remember he has limited time to talk, and maybe, just maybe the word "pro-life" is a tad bit of a clunker. But here's what he was saying paraphrased: "Suppose you're running in Missouri or Kansas and you have a Catholic Democrat who opposes the death penalty, favors higher social spending on the goals you like, wants universal healthcare, and is with you on enough issues to draw a distinction BUT ON ABORTION isn't exactly enamored with "no limits" even though the candidate is willing to bend for the first three months."

You see, that's not enough for the religious sacrament of these folks. YOU WILL TOE THE LINE ON ABORTION or we won't support you.

Well guess what's gonna happen if you go this route? Remember, nobody is telling you to go out and find a bunch of anti-abortionists to run. That's not what he means and everyone taking his words ultra-literally KNOWS it. They're telling you that if the candidate is a good candidate and otherwise acceptable, let that one thing go because you will GET more than you LOSE.

Kamala Harris won 19 states. Even assuming as a Democrat you can win BOTH Senate seats in those 19 states, that's 38 senators. That's a filibuster-proof majority for the other party.

Why in the world is this so hard for some people???? My God, the REPUBLICANS got it, it's why they accepted the compromise of candidates like Christie Todd Whitman, Tom Ridge, Arnold, Mitt Romney's flip-flop (convenient timing, buddy), and so many others. It was a choice between having POWER TO DO SOMETHING with enough votes or letting the other side run the show.

If Democrats would rather lose elections because abortion than win elections with a 95% acceptable candidate, well, it's pretty difficult to take their "democracy is in danger" cries seriously.

And please don't come back with "but Kansas didn't vote in a ban so therefore see" because that doesn't mean you wouldn't maybe have a better shot there.

Btw, let's be honest: he WOULD have said, "They need to let this men playing women's sports go" and been far more right, but we all know what would have happened if he had and so does he.

His central point is correct.

Is Trump a communist or a Nazi? They need to pick one or the other because both ideologies are basically diametrically opposed to each other.

Meanwhile, trump continues to rake in billions for being scrotus POTUS.

True, but Republicans don't pretend to hate money like Democrats do, either. Democrats love money every bit as much as they accuse Republicans of loving it, but they like to pretend they don't. You know, like Republicans pretend they don't like kinky sex as much as Democrats, even though the stats from the dating apps this past weekend suggest Charlie Kirk's funeral was a fornicate-fest for the right.

Trump has boasted about his wealth, something pretty much no candidate (not even the most capitalistic conservative Republican) would have ever done.

trump also doesn't seem to mind doing it all out in the open because his supporters dont seem to care.

Kathy Griffin: "I do not think Trump won in a free and fair election. I believe there was tampering. I don't know if it was the Elon connection…My gut is telling me that something was up with them."

I hate this kind of nonsense. Unless you have some definitive proof of widespread and meaningful fraud, why cast doubt on the validity of our elections? Just wishing for a different outcome isn’t nearly enough.

I'm pretty sure that's the point.
