According to the Film Guy (TFG) Wommack has definitely made some changes to the defense, for the good. He goes into detail on the changes. But there's definitely been some self scouting going on by Wommack. TFG says the Bama defense is a very good "zone defense" and it appears that is where they're gravitating towards as a whole. He says the defense is very good at creating multiple looks for the QB and shifting into something else late to confuse the QB.

His concerns:
- He still thinks Wommack goes to the "robber" look on 3rd too much and on several plays in the Whisky game you could tell the offense expected it and ran a play that easily defeated it.

- He doesn't like Russaw dropping into coverage so much. He's a great pass rusher and when he rushes the passer Alabama's defense has more success. He just doesn't understand why Wommack is taking a pass rusher like that out of what he does best so often

- We're still having defenders filling the same gap and leaving the backside gap wide open. Though we've gotten a lot better at schemes on the DL and rushing the passer, we're still having players miss assignments that could burn us down the road. We're not very gap sound right now.

- Hurry up offense causes chaos for the Bama defense. A lot of times when Whisky went fast after a successful play we had problems getting players lined up right and on and off the field.

Overall, it is a great watch and give it to Wommack, he's made material changes to what the defense does since the FSU game. Yes, there's still some weak spots that need to be cleaned up but the changes that we've made (according to TFG) has made Bama's defense well above average. I recommend watching.
