The Good, the Bad and the Ugly…. Vol style:

The concerning: I think we have far too many “I” guys to expect more than an 8 win season at this point. I think we need to find more guys that want to be here instead of need to be here for the NFL. I think blaming the staff for everything only goes so far because even Saban struggled at times with this.
Quoted for truth.

Good: defense really did look better today. Of course, their offense is terrible, but I’ll take a silver lining wherever I can find one.

Bad: Tommy Rees snuck into the stadium and started calling plays again. What the hell happened to our quarterback whisperer head coach?

Ugly: Bad penalties, no discipline, no character and frankly, no fire. I showed more emotion fixing the refrigerator in our garage this morning.
Vols offense is elite when clicking. Sampson is what forner Bama backs used to run like! Hueple runs circles around Deboer's offense. We were lucky vols QB overthrown so many passes and they also had drops. Milroe had open WRs and only connected on some. He overthrown so many I lost count.

Indeed, Milroe had a truly terrible day. It was easily his worst game so far this season. Bobby Hill’s offense is good, but not with a substandard offensive line and a freshman QB. We should have beaten these guys going away, but our offense chose this day to turn into a hot mess.

The good: well our defense played well enough to win.
The bad: Milroes body language throughout the game. He did nothing that showed leadership.

The bad: losing to the garbage truck workers convention. The offense and the game plan, no killer instinct, no dogs on the oline. For all the talk pre season from guys like Booker. No true wr2 and that is as much on milroe as the coaching. No one plays like they are mad at the world. Procter plays timid at times and still gives up pressure. And the OC seems clueless. There is calling plays and there is preparing a gameplan, He calls plays.

Good- defense was better. Same with special teams.

The bad - poor Vandy. Their win is going to look really cheap by end of year. I genuinely hate that for them.

the ugly - we still have 5 games left. Can we at least beat the cow college?
They thought they were going to be crowned champions after surviving georgia. When Williams was passing out chains after the uga game i stead of watching film to improve and shore up problems, I was concerned.

Good: The effort by the defense giving our offense a chance to put away the game numerous times

Bad: Milroe‘s play as QB today was seriously pedestrian bordering on incompetence…. It’s time for a new signal caller or DeBoer needs to go

Ugly: Second straight year the team has played undisciplined football by garnering stupid penalties ..; something needs to change

Finally we have learned nothing about hiring players coaches it just doesn’t work here in the SEC. We have completely digressed

The good is my fiance is away this week, so she's happy she wasn't here.
The bad: our run game.
I would love to say this was just a bad game but it's been the standard this year. Everyone here has already mentioned all the issues, but I think what has really hurt us is the exodus of players like Caleb Downs and Bond.
Just those two players would have made the difference. So now we have a very young team, average running backs and a QB that has lost his fire.

There just isn’t a lot of play makers on either side of the ball. No elite pass rushers or shut down corners. Ryan Williams made some plays early in the year to make the offense look better then it is but besides him there isn’t any real home run guys. Jam Miller is decent back but not really shifty or guy that can make lot guys miss. Haynes has been big disappointment for me this year as I thought he would be the true number 1 back but he has struggled. We don’t really have a threat at tight end to put pressure up the seam. The offense is good but can’t make up for mistakes and penalties and unfortunately we are having lot of those and get behind the chains and the drive is over.
