That's all irrelevant, he's not reimbursing her for anything she did to help create the wealth, he's buying her silence so he can create more wealth.

Besides, he's evidently OK with it which should give us an idea of how sordid the details actually are.

I'd actually like to know just exactly how much he's paid out over the last year in his quest for silence. I bet the number is staggering.

And I tell you what, she's going to be quite the catch for somebody. If'n I was still single, she's probably like a man such as myself.
 
Well, good for her and the kids. It's an insane amount of money, but quite frankly she deserves every penny given how he repeatedly conducted himself throughout their marriage.

Tiger Woods is a joke of a human being. A talented joke, but a joke nonetheless. I hope Elin never marries again and just has one hot lover after another, each one wealthier and better-looking than the one before.
 
First, you would think there would have been a prenuptial agreement to address these matters for far less than $750 million.

Second, doesn't taking the money make her a little bit of an accomplice in the whole deal? As another poster said, what did she really have to do with creating the wealth? She was a nanny when they met, according to what I have read.

For that amount, he could have allowed her to receive third degree burns over most of her body through electrocution 250 times, or allowed a vicious dog to bite her face off 750 times.

Yeah, she's been through a lot.
 
Any man that behaves as he apparently did deserves to be taken to the cleaners by his wife. No excuses.

Something tells me Tiger will still have a pretty good life. He still has hundreds of millions, and probably more than that that Elin's investigators didn't uncover.

Exactly my thoughts....it's bad enough to be a woman scorned, but 750 MILLION DOLLARS might make it a little worth it...just kiddin':eek:

He entered into a contract with her and he then broke that contract. Repeatedly. Again, and again.

Yeah, the amount is staggering, but that's what the fool gets for marrying someone that he didn't love or that couldn't provide him with what he "needed."

I have no sympathy for Tiger in this situation, and honestly, none for Elin either. And apparently, both are richer than 95% of the world's population anyway.
