Has been that way for at least 30 years. Did an interview with longtime Tuscaloosa area DJ Steve Shannon (during Shannon’s original run in the late 80’s, not the “Steve and DC” era in the mid 90’s). Shannon asked Brando on the air why he “hated” Alabama. And he just laughed and laughed and laughed.

Pretty sure it’s well documented that Brando is a huge LSU homer, family members went there, etc. Surely there’s more to it than that. But “Timmy B” was hating Bama before hating Bama was cool, so to speak. He was the innovator of “Bama fatigue.”
