All I can say is, keep an eye on him. I'm not saying it will happen, but IT was either Clemson or Alabama... and it was close. IF he wants to be closer to home, I would expect him to reach out to Alabama or Auburn.
Be a nice get.

I think his high school has been leaning Auburn lately, so we will see.

I’ve heard we have a salary cap , in the $16mm range, which is probably a top 10 salary range. Next year will probably be $18mm

Alabama spent $16MM in 2024 if we are to believe reports about 5th or 6th, I think. OSU spent $20MM, 2nd most.

Apologies…not “laughing” at you Dwain…just the thought of a cap w/no regulation is well…silly.
Yep - it would be deemed collusion and illegal.

I believe he is speaking of Judge Claudia Wilkins ruling -

.
The NCAA agreed to pay roughly $2.8 billion in damages to former and current college athletes. The deal also eliminates the restrictions on schools directly paying their players which have long been a cornerstone of the NCAA's amateurism rules. If the settlement is finalized, starting next year schools will be allowed to pay their players up to a certain limit. The cap is expected to start at slightly more than $20 million per school and increase on an annual basis.

this settlement will never be implemented, as before this was handed down, more athletes filed lawsuits against the NCAA. The only ones winning are the attorneys.
