Never said we were sitting in a courtroom, RJ. This is a fan board, a pretty good one. Yet we're accusing a family of taking bribes. That's beneath this fan board.

Wade incidentally hired Pearl's lawyer which should tell you something right there. LSU seems to be on the hear no evil, speak no evil path of defense that Auburn and Pearl blazed a year ago. Does anyone really think the NCAA will truly give substantive punishment to curtail the blatant disregard for the rules? The only way Wade ends up fired is if there is more evidence that he cheats. This is not speculation. There is evidence(wiretaps) he offered 2 players large sums of money to play at LSU. So why are we to think it was any different with Watford.

What may be lost in all this, unless something drastic happens, LSU probably won't be very good next year.

We are legitimately in the running for Deashin Nix, Namari Burnette, Hunter Dickinson, and Marjon Beaucamp. Not familiar with the names? Looks them up and their highlights. Word is, that we lead for Deashin Nix, #1 PG in the Nation for 2020. I may just start posting threads on those guys. I really feel like we are about to consistently get top recruits here, and they deserve their own threads.

I thought about closing it, but normally we don't do that unless there's a reason. If people will quit posting to it, it'll slide down the board and into oblivion.

I agree with Mike lets close this thread he made his bed let him sleep in it, Mike is right we are on a lot of 5 stars in 20 yes Mike please post us on Nix. and I too think Wade will be fired for season starts. Lets be ready for him when he visits Coleman.

Not sure why anyone is upset; we won. An entitled dude who was pampered at Mtn Brook against Alabama high school competition, or a battle-tested New Yorker with something to prove? Fuhgetaboddit.

This continues my hope that Oats is opening a pipeline to the Northeast.

We are about to see a west coast pipeline as well. I really believe that CNO is about to do somethings that we have never seen before in regards to recruiting. This guy is amazing at building relationships.

I hope so. It's always great to have some local guys, but we have to supplement them with players who've played better competition in other regions too. We've never been able to make that a priority, but we've also never had a Northern coach in the modern era (or maybe ever).

I'll seriously take hard-nosed JUCO guys over prep stars for now. Bolden and Rojas' experience elsewhere should push our guys and factor in big for this transition year.

Rojas appears to be a great pick-up. Onward and upward.

I am glad this whole thing is over with the drama queen. Truth be told, I think Rojas will help us more than Watford would have anyway. He is a proven commodity against better competition. He averaged 19 a game with about 7 boards game. He is anything, but a consolation prize. It would not surprise me if Coach Oats really wanted Rojas more.
