Trump Policies, Part the VIII

wondering if this will be considered waste, fraud, and abuse

I read a similar article earlier today. Is Trump trying to save a right wing government or bail out Wall Street Bond Holders or both?

On April 11th, Argentina attempted a similar "lifeline" with the IMF. The deal included: A $20 billion agreement with the IMF, which included a $12 billion upfront payment. And, Argentina's central bank let the Peso trade freely in a range of 1,000 to 1,400 pesos per dollar.

How much money will need to be thrown into that bottomless pit? Is this just a glimpse on where the US, France and the UK are headed?

Because there are probably several from each side of the isle and prominent figures from all over the US and the entire world.

I don't doubt this. I think this is what drives the whole thing.

But then Trump shouldn't have played the role of playground taunting bully, "Hey hey, everybody, I've got this big secret I'm gonna share, gonna take down all the bad guys."

The irony is the Democrats would have been hard-pressed to dangle the Epstein files over the electorate and not deliver, so Trump, who's entire game is promising big revelations that never happen, was a sucker who could blow the horn and get the attention...and now he's the one covering it up because, well, he's in there, which we always knew.

Compulsive gamblers like Pete Rose don't stop their betting short of their own sport.
Compulsive sex addicts like Trump aren't swayed by "but she's only 13", which is why Hugh Hefner's addiction drove him to bestiality.

Q: How does Trump saying "I hate my opponent and I don't want the best for them" square with bringing down the temperature of political violence?

LEAVITT: Look, the president is authentically himself. I think that's why millions of Americans across the country love him.

They love him because they're members of a cult that believes every word the fool says. They are impressed and invigorated by his bullying, hatred, and outright moral and political debauchery - all while claiming to be part of a rebirth of American Christianity.

too bad they go out of their way to make sure a ton of other folks can't be "authentically themselves"

And now we’re going to spend weeks talking about Tylenol instead of about the Epstein files.

I'm not. Well done research indicates Tylenol does not cause autism. A few early studies with multiple confounders were slightly concerning, but the larger studies with more rigorous methodology were completely negative.

Autism is 70-80% genetic. Well studied and documented. No question at this point. There is no direct treatment that will reverse it, although therapy and other programs and medications can help those with it to have a better and more fulfilling life.

This is a lie. Plain and simple.

sadly, there are no consequences for this continued lying and duplicity

Honestly, a vast majority of the MAGA people I know don't support him because they like bullying, hatred, etc. - they like him because 'he says what he's thinking instead of saying what he thinks people want to hear'...

Half of the people in the US aren't nearly as hateful as you seem to think. I defend them because I know a lot of them, and they're nothing like you presume. If you know a lot of MAGA supporters and they're like this, I'd love to know where that is, as I've lived in two very different places during Trump's terms and the people are consistently not as you seem to believe.

Not surprisingly, trump's address to the UNGA today was another embarrassment of lies and incompetance.:(
Look, you woke snowflakes are just haters. So what if he can't string a few coherent sentences together without a snort or two of ketamine? Besides, it's all part of his unparalleled strength and leadership: Trump bends grammar to his will, not the other way around!
