had to look up that acronym, LOL perfect

Hope Trump kills the republican chances. Serves them right for treating him as something remotely resembling a serious candidate

Right now Trump is tickling people's ears by telling them what they want to hear, especially with regards to immigration issues. Meanwhile, the establishment candidates are trying to assure the donor class that their landscaping bills won't go up.
With Trump, it's kinda like joining a cult. At first you hear about all of the nice things that they believe that aren't all that different from what you believe. But eventually they pull back the curtain and show you what else they're into, and by then you're in deep. I think eventually he will say or do something that will turn off a lot of people who are currently following him, but by that point he will have funneled a lot of money that would have gone to other candidates. Hillary will owe him big time. Maybe that was his plan all along!

Good news (I hope) is that most of the idiots that would vote for him now probably wouldn't touch him if (R) isn't next to his name.
And I am not quick to call anyone an idiot based on who they vote for. But I think in this case my use of "idiots" is justified.

If everyone lived by what Paul said in Galatians 6:1-10 we would have far less problems. Reagan's 11th commandment is obviously not being implemented, if the "family of believers" is the Republican field :)

Galatians 6
1Brothers and sisters, if someone is caught in a sin, you who live by the Spirit should restore that person gently. But watch yourselves, or you also may be tempted. 2Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ. 3If anyone thinks they are something when they are not, they deceive themselves. 4Each one should test their own actions. Then they can take pride in themselves alone, without comparing themselves to someone else, 5for each one should carry their own load. 6Nevertheless, the one who receives instruction in the word should share all good things with their instructor.
7Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows. 8Whoever sows to please their flesh, from the flesh will reap destruction; whoever sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life. 9Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. 10Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers.

Trump won't run as a third party.....last election at this stage....Rudy had 30%, Fred Thompson had 20%.....things change.

Trump can't win as a 3rd party....so, he won't squander his fortune on a big run. He'll run until he loses his lead (which my guess will be October) -- and then he'll bow out ..... throw his support behind someone (like Cruz or Rand Paul)....and then he'll write a new book.....

perot was more likable ;)
Not in person. My SIL dated his daughter once. Later, we were skiing in Vail and having lunch up on the mountain. In the little restaurant, I was sitting on the side of our long table looking out the picture window at the mountains. Ben was across from me, looking at the interior of the restaurant. I happened to glance behind me and saw the famous ears. (Perot also owned a place there then.) His back was to me. In a low tone, I said to Ben "Aren't you going to say hello to Mr. Perot?" He said "I don't want to get stood up against the wall again." :D
