Trump has a special talent never before matched in picking unqualified grifters with no relevant reason to appoint them to various cabinet and other positions.

Trump Wrong About U.S. Rank in Education Spending and Outcomes

As justification for dismantling the federal Department of Education, President Donald Trump has repeatedly claimed that U.S. schools are “ranked 40 out of 40” in educational outcomes compared with other countries, while the U.S. “ranked No. 1 in cost per pupil.” Neither claim is accurate.

U.S. high school students performed above average in science and reading, and a bit below average in math, according to the latest data compiled by the intergovernmental Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development. And in other international assessments, elementary students in the U.S. scored above average in math, science and reading.

During the campaign, Trump made no secret of his desire to dismantle the federal Department of Education. As president, Trump said that remains his goal.

Vance:

If a judge tried to tell a general how to conduct a military operation, that would be illegal.

If a judge tried to command the attorney general in how to use her discretion as a prosecutor, that's also illegal.

Judges aren't allowed to control the executive's legitimate power.

And just who does Trump/Musk/Vance think gets to decide what the president's legitimate power is? You get one guess.

I think you are misreading the intention. He’s saying the judge is wrong in their ruling and that Trump has the power to do what he is doing. He used examples where a judge couldn’t interfere because it was a legitimate use of authority. That’s what Vance is saying about this. You may disagree and say the judge got it right, but it’s not some appeal to dictatorship.

I hope you're right. I did see where Elon is calling for the judge to be impeached.

Trump administration halts work at fraud-fighting Consumer Financial Protection Bureau
The CFPB is an independent government agency responsible for protecting consumers in the financial industry, enforcing federal rules for financial institutions such as banks, credit unions and other lenders and debt collectors.

It was created in 2011 after the Great Recession and was the brainchild of Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass., who said in an X post Saturday that Vought is "giving big banks and giant corporations the green light to scam families."

Democrats argued that Vought doesn't have the authority to dismantle the agency that was created by Congress and signed into law by President Barack Obama.

"The CFPB is protected by law and we will fight to ensure it can continue to fight for consumers," wrote Sen. Chris Van Hollen, D-Md., on X.

Before being tapped to lead the Office of Management and Budget, Vought was the vice president of the Heritage Action for America, and was one of the architects of Project 2025, a sweeping and controversial policy blueprint for Trump's second term in office.

He says whatever suits his purpose at that moment and truth be damned.
And the brainwashed, Fox News watching MAGAs believe it every single time. No matter how many facts and proof you show them afterwards they will never believe Trump lied. I guarantee you that my mom will mention all the illegals getting social security at some point this week.

She’s obsessed with the “illegal immigrant problem” in Montgomery, AL, especially “all the crime they are committing”. She believes everything Fox News and Trump say and then applies it to Montgomery even if they weren’t talking about Montgomery.

Doesn’t matter that I had grand jury duty last month and out of 243 cases we heard, 1 case involved illegal immigrants, 2 people. 99% of our cases were committed by good ole Americans. She still spouts immigration lies from Dictator Trump.

I’ve always disagreed with this law. I’d favor citizenship for children where at least one parent is a legal citizen or permanent resident. However, revocation of citizenship should not be retroactive if the Supreme Court rules to change the current interpretation.

A grand total of ZERO major news outlets yesterday reported on the fact that President Trump's FEMA resolved 80% OF ALL OPEN Hurricane Helene victim cases in Western North Carolina in just 5 days. NOT ONE. Read that again.

Maybe it wasn't reported because there is no verification yet. I'm not saying it's a lie because I dont know but anything that comes out of this administration must be treated with a grain of salt, at best.
