That injury is totally on his super-crappy right tackle - one of the worst whiffs I've ever seen. Tom Brady would've gone on IR on that play, too. The Dolphins are a putrid franchise.

Yeah but it’s starting to make sense why the Dolphins are still interested in Deshaun Watson. Tua is very fragile to begin with but the Dolphins are a horrible team with the exception of defense.

Many of us said that while we hoped Tua would go high in the draft and get paid, we didn't want our NFL teams to be the ones drafting him. Some players are just unlucky with respect the injury bug.

I think Tua was doomed when he was targeted by the Dolphins.

Well it’s why it’s the most idiotic idea to draft a quarterback in the top 10. Most of the teams just suck and will continue to suck.

Maybe, but I think that teams should draft the best player available. If it is a QB, take him, but don't play him until he is ready. That probably means getting great draft picks the following year, too. It takes a few years to build a team, but you eventually have to try and pick up a franchise QB.

Look at Sam Darnold. The Jets are one of the worst franchises in the history of the sport. He gets out of that hell hole and is flourishing with the Panthers. The kid the Jets drafted is getting clobbered.

Tua needs a similar break. The Dolphins have been in the crapper since the early 80s.

I can't argue that. But a decent operation gives him a better chance at a legit career. It's going to take some luck even with the best of franchises.

100% agree. It’s why I was hoping he would drop past 10.

He could have a great year and win a SB. He is that talented. But it isn't going to happen in Miami.
