Tua's Knee

I have not listened to it yet. Was Saban asked about the scope, or not? I know he has a way with words, so he could have still had the scope and Saban would not confirm or deny.
I did not watch it, just read the excerpts. The excerpt about Tua reads:

"He's probably better this week than he was last week," Alabama coach Nick Saban said. "So we'll see how he does in practice and continue to evaluate. As long as the medical staff clears him, we'll keep working him to try to get him ready to play in the game."

Saban said as long as the medical staff clears him they will try to get him ready to play in the game. Sounds like he will see some action unless it's just a ploy by Saban to keep UT off balance.

This is great news....I know the coaching staff will make the best decisions possible going forward wrt how much he plays. I know the Heisman is in play but I care more about the man's knee/leg healing properly as he has a huge future ahead of him.

Sounds like RDavis might see some bench time against tennessee...
Maybe a possession for every punch he threw?Look, I get that he was looking out for Mack and Mizzou was being dirty and so on and so on - but you don't throw punches. Shove em, get in their face, push em off your guys but I'm fine with him not playing for a little bit. Let Ray in there and he will do fine.

I'm still in the mindset Saban is trying to not tell Pruitt what the situation is. Tua already wears a black jersey as a QB, so that's one less red flag for the media to report. The media viewing time is typically drills anyway, so it's not like Tua is going to be running plays in front of them.

Same here.

True. I still think Saban is not telling the entire story. Why should he (for TN planning purposes)? I just wish we fans could know for sure.

How did no one ask CNS about Butch Jones for this week. haha

I am sure Butch Jones is a nice man, etc. It still seems weird seeing him in BAMA gear on the sidelines though. He may not be a great or good Head Coach, but he may actually have some helpful info on player tendencies, etc for TN game.

Ok, just got confirmation from a 21 year old here at work. "Shake Back" basically means "Bounce Back". And, the 1-3 means 1 to 3 weeks, not his number. So the entire message means "Bounce Back in 1-3 weeks".

Even the Vol fans on their boards, while hoping Davis would be suspended of course, commented on MO's dirty play...
