BREAKING Ty Declaring for NFL Draft

He looked like an nfl qb from ULM-Tenn, about half the season, then the injuries, turn overs, average at best play to finish out the season, I’m surprised he didn’t come back or transfer

I'm sure the very weak QB class coming out had a lot to do with him still getting a first round grade. Most of the former NFL quarterback and player analysts said he needed another year of college football. I think he needs another year of starting in college, but obviously he and his family felt otherwise. So good for him and I wish him the best and hope he has a very successful NFL career.

Not really surprising. It does leave a huge amount questions for next season. Who emerges as the starter? We have to rebuild the OL so what is that going to look like? Can we get get back to the playoff with a new QB AND a new OL? We shall see.

I have no idea what our OL will look like since we are still shopping for 3-4 new guys.

QB is clear.

Mack or KR depending on who wins the job in the Spring and the new TF is QB3

Unless Mack or KR leave before the portal closes.

I expect AM and KR to stay and compete for the starting job. I'll be concerned if either hit the portal.

Wishing him well and I thank Ty for sticking around in an era where he could’ve easily went somewhere else, teams will take note of that.

My preferred spot is the Rams, not sure he’s a Day 1 starter yet and the Rams need to start drafting their Stafford replacement and learning from him and McVay is perfect.
I agree as a Niner fan. However, my concern for Ty going anywhere is the Trey Lance experience, where he had a limited number of overall snaps, and was clearly having to learn on the job when he was pushing to be starter in San Francisco. He was also easily injured when he did play and/or start.

Ty needs to go to a place where he isn't starting and can learn. He probably picked up some bad habits running behind the Alabama Oline as well, and will have to break those in the NFL.

Agreed...he is a Mac type QB..very accurate given time or timed routes etc...not a starter right away but QB2 on a team that he can grow into the system etc. So many QBs fail straight out of college because they are put into unwinnable situations

Good for Ty. This is the best thing for him. He needs to heal, hold a clip board and learn how to be a pro in the league for a minute. There is plenty of tape on him and his ability/character/grit will serve him will in the draft IMHO.
