Peterson knew there were better things on the horizon, and the only way he was staying at Boise was if they somehow got a P5 invite.
I wouldve had a lot of respect if Boise actually followed through with their "anytime, anywhere" motto that their AD was spewing back in the day, but they didnt. I give Nebraska alot of hell, but they literally offered Boise a H and H, and it fell through because of Boise jacking up the percentages. Basically Boise wanted to act like a P5 when the game was in Boise, but wanted the big FCS check when it was on the road.
