Grant was redshirted after an injury in preseason camp. Upchurch is a redshirt freshman this year. He scored a TD.

Grant played this season and was hurt around the beginning of the regular season. I think Alabama was going to try to get a redshirt for Grant, but don't know if they can (someone else might know for sure).

Some minor corrections. Grant played in two games and had a total of 22 yards rushing. He was a starting return man on the kick return team before he was injuried. Alabama will try to receive a red shirt for him due to the early injury. Upchurched played but a chronic injury with his ankles caused him to have midseason surgery. Alabama might try to receive a second redshirt year for him.

I hope we go with some sort of spread passing game with those two RBs next year. We know JP can throw. We have Hall, Brown, Stover, Oakley that can catch. With fast, smaller RBs in Upchurch and Grant, that is a lot of weapons. Spread, not Spread option, but a Fun-N-Gun kind of O. Get 3 WRs or 4 and a single back for screens, draws, quick pitches. Things like that.
