UPDATE: Confusion surrounds Sheffield incident

I will probably get flamed but what the hey! I now live in Sheffield and the Fiesta Club is not located in a bad section of town (just down the road from Cajuns) and is really one of only a handful of places for the local college scene to go to. I have not frequented this establishment so I can't say as to the ambiance (not my type of crowd--Cajuns for me). Although I don't believe he could have pulled this off, the possibility of him being there at some point during the evening doesn't seem, to me, to be that far-fetched of an idea. It is only a two hour and fifteen minute drive to T-Town (I've driven it to many times during my tenure at Bama).

It is located almost directly across the street from where Bikes Plus used to be located on Jackson Highway, about a half-block south of the Hatch Boulevard and Jackson Highway intersection.

Just another Woodward & Bernstein....

From all I've read so far, I wouldn't even care if it was Brodie Croyle who was in Sheffield that night, because it doesn't seem like anything other than a scuffle in a bar really happened. This looks like another incident (all too typical in today's media world of "go get me a headline making story...or else) of another "Woodward & Bernstein" (creating a story, rather than reporting one). I wouldn't be too worried about it as a Tide fan. Remember also, that Sheffield is near the border with 10rC, and seems to have an unusually large supply of Vol faithful. RTR.
