The last time UcheaT beat Bama, the iPhone hadn't even been released yet.
* There was no Instagram, and MySpace was still the preferred social media outlet.

* "Hannah Montana" debuted on The Disney Channel, where star Miley Cyrus was just 14-years-old.

* Bobby Bowden was at FSU, Pete Carroll was at USC and Joe Paterno was at Penn State.

* "Hips Don't Lie" and "Sexy Back" were No. 1 hits.

* The St. Louis Cardinals won the World Series.

* Bob Riley was the governor of Alabama.

* North Korea declares it had carried out its first test of a nuclear weapon.

* Mike Shula was the coach at Alabama, while Phillip Fulmer still coached at Tennessee.

* Alabama had only won 12 national championships.

* None of my kids were alive. Oldest is 11 and the twins are 9.

My oldest was born on Thursday, October 18th, 2007. Two days later Alabama beat Tenn. 41-17 and haven’t lost to them since. Unfortunately, thanks to my sister who is an Auburn Alumni, my daughter has grown up an Auburn fan. She hates it when I reminded her that her birth is responsible for Bama’s winning streak.
