One of the greatest to ever do it, if not the greatest. He had one of the most recognizable broadcasting voices ever. RIP Vince and prayers to the family.

I liked Vin Scully fine. May he rest in peace. He seemed like a very likable gentleman.

There are a lot of announcers I have liked better. It may have been because I was less exposed to Scully, but he always struck my as very vanilla where I prefer a more colorful announcer. Super nice guy though.

It's hard for me at age 67 to imagine a 67 year carreer. Even Earle has not accomplished that.
