Game Thread: Virginia Tech vs Tennessee

The schedule next year will be pretty tough...but all in the SEC are.

We play Oregon early and in the SEC we lose Auburn and pick up LSU next year and as always play Bama and Florida. If it matters, we get Oregon, Bama, and Florida at home and then travel to LSU.

The other three non-conference are UT-Martin, UAB, and Memphis.

Yah, while Kiffin may recruit well, I'd be shocked if UT posted a record as good / better than this year's. The fun part will be watching much of the UT fanbase meltdown as they see the team look worse without paying attention as to why.

Then again, the koolaid drinkers are already making up excuses that don't actually exist (like recruiting vs VT), so time will tell...

I honestly think that if Tennessee fans are patient, Kiffin will work out in Tennessee. Don't know that they will be patient.

Time will tell, but last night the entire UT staff was out-coached soundly. It looked as if there were zero half time adjustments made by UT to counter VT.

They played their rivals tight this year, but I'm in a wait-and-see more as to whether Kiffin has what it takes to make UT competitive.
