I agree. I see the point back when we had 13 states and people were worried a big state would dominate.

But now, who cares. Especially since it is easy to get around as Cheney did. A lib on a board I used to hang out on kept bringing up that it was a violation God him to live in Texas and get Texas' votes along with Bush and that he was doing something sneaky and underhanded. I kept saying it was not a big deal and Cheney had lived and served Wyoming for years, so it's not like he had no ties there. I think Pence as well, though a Gingrich selection would not surprise me. Trump went to Gingrich for advice before he announced he was running for president. He would have a notable position within the administration.

I think I already said it in this thread but if he picks Gingrich that's proof he doesn't intend to win. How does Gingrich help him pick up any support, whatsoever, beyond what he already has? (and I acknowledge that generally the VP pick doesn't make a difference).

Gingrich? Cheated on every wife he's ever had and even handed one divorce papers during Chemotherapy, that's a Family Values Republican right there. Course Trump dumps all his when they start to sag so I guess this makes Trump look like a decent human in comparison

Cristie? Also hated by his own State, rails against pot smokers as having no willpower while being grossly obese and shown to be a petty political jerk, which is probably why trump likes him so much

One thing's for sure (IMO), the VP pick is not going to be very helpful no matter which one Trump picks. I don't see people getting excited about any of them.

The man is a scumbag and a coward as is any man who would cheat on his wife or lacks the courage to file for divorce before seeing others. If his own wives can't trust him why the hell should I?
