VT to wear black jerseys against Boise?

I like VT (2nd favorite team), but sometimes I'm really glad I'm an alum of a school that doesn't do this type of thing.

I had high hopes for a VT win but, if they are having to resort to these types of tactics then I'd say they have already lost. Why VT, why? Boise doesn't need anymore motivation for this game.

I don't think Boise's going to find motivation in the color of Va Tech's jerseys.

this is what happens when your school has no real identity, or at least doesn't realize it has an identity...you resort to gimmicks and garbage. Not to mention, that jersey is hideously ugly.

For some reason, Va Tech's had a history of that. I remember a few years ago when they did the Nike thing. They had solid maroon jerseys except for their one of their shoulders, which was solid orange. Florida did that too.

Those things are horrendous. They should be able to do better than that. Also, that article says they will wear black helmets Talk about looking bad.

Normally I don't mind some of the updated jersey's, it's just part of what happens as the years pass. But these are awful. Maybe the worst I've ever seen, definitely worse than anything Oregon's put on recently.

VT's colors used to be cadet grey and black.
