VaTech doesn't have an offense. It's a shame to have such a good D and no offense to go with it.

By contrast, ECU has a very good offense. This game was always going to be a test for VT. It's one of those strength against strength games.

Anecdote - One of my nieces was visiting in Columbus for a week during the summer. She attends ECU - junior this year. She was wearing an ECU tee with this on the front:

Jokingly, I asked her what that meant - "No quarter". She looked at me blankly and said that she did not know, but it was on all their stuff at ECU. Again, she is a junior this year.

Yeah, she is absolutely adorable - but not the sharpest knife in the drawer.
