Walk-On Adam Stewart from Hargrave Joins Team

i was just gettin ready to start a thread about this guy... cant believe he hasnt gotten a solid offer and decided to walk on @ bama.. w/ his 4.35 speed and strength..?... maybe he could add some weight and move to linebacker.. but would kinda be lackin in height.. or be the next derrick pope.. or maybe fullback.. or stick at safety ..who knows.. looks like a sleeper tho

I see this as Mike Shula's surprise player he seems to bring in every year. Much like Gilberry, Jefferey Dukes, and Erik Anders. With so many guys probally qualified we get this guy in as a walk-on and if more than one guy doesn't qualify he may get the scholly.

Thoughts?

Main difference is that Anders, Gilberry, and Dukes were all scholarshipped from the get-go. Being from Hargrave, it is unlikely that he was just overlooked. Perhaps compared to his counterparts, he was unimpressive, but college coaches are aware of everyone at Hargrave.
Gilberry just wasn't ever seen until the all-star game, where Shula said, "This kid doesn't have a scholarship?" Dukes was highly thought of, but was not expected to have fulfilled his JUCO requirements so early. We haven't really seen Anders yet. Anyway...
