I just saw that all tickets allotted to Texas are upper deck seats. Since they aren’t an SEC member yet we don’t have to abide by the conference seating policy.
I know a lot of folks were hoping we’d “return the favor” for what they did to the MDB last year.

Teams layer recruiting classes and get better. We went from bad, to great, to elite in 3 years. Why can’t Texas go from good to great?
As I mentioned, I don't think they were good last year. They were average. I would expect them to use their talent to be good, but I just don't expect them to jump from 7-5 to 12-0. They might, but it would be a surprise to me.
I should also add that I don't think Sarkisian is on Saban's level to jump to elite, but he may prove me wrong.

I am really CONCERNED regarding the Bama vs Texas game. Bama FANS need to get really LOUD so the QB can't even think, and the OL gets many penalties because of the LOUD NOISE!

Here's hoping Bama wins by at least 3 TDs. Sarks play calling is one of my BIG CONCERNS.

I'm assuming the answer is no, but has there been any update on Moore's or Key's injuries, or McKinstry for that matter?

I got an update from somebody who is somewhat informed. Malachi is a go. Key out for two weeks. McKinstry was not really injured. Also told me Oatis on DL and Booker on OL dealing with some type of injuries but don't think they will be out. I imagine Malachi will move to safety and Little will go at star.

Not great news at all. I mean, awesome Kool Aid is OK and Malachi but Key is a loss. Most importantly, Oatis being hobbled does not bode well for us in this game. Hope we have some guys step up because we are going to need to shore up the LOS against the froghorns.

Rest assured the fans will sit on their hands till it’s 3rd and short and will only make some noise mere seconds before the snap. Instead of making it unbearable while the play is being signaled in and relayed to the team, on 1st down and 2nd down where we can force errors and put them behind the chains. There’s a reason Banks said playing at BDS wasn’t that big a deal. He’s experienced the lackadaisical attitude most in attendance have.

One of these player’s mom was posting on Facebook that he was fine a few days ago. Something that frankly needs to stop. But hey, when you’re looking for attention….

I hope whatever combination Coach Saban has practiced with to replace Key works... it is a concern with Ewers passing talent. I wonder if Texas has any starters out.. Hope we win tomorrow! If not, it will be a long season with even more pressure on the team because we all know the CFP committee isn't letting a 2 loss team in the playoffs.

Agree. I heard someone comment about how you can game plan and manage the edge rush, but the interior pash rush is something you can't really game plan for. We need the DL to collapse the pocket.

Frankly, I was hoping we would take the high road and not return the favor so we could see how they responded/remind them of what hospitality is supposed to be, but here we are.

It's what happens when you put a good portion of the students in the upper deck and end end zones. Nobody is as loud as the students, and the older the crowd gets, the less of an effect they are willing to have on the game. But, money is money, so we get a bunch of folks closer to the field that don't even want to stand during the game.

I wish the seat locations were distributed based on how loud the person was during the games, not how much money was donated, and how long they have been buying tickets, etc.

To what end? Do you think Texas will suddenly see the error of their ways and apologize? You think they'll tone down their 'all hat no cattle' attitude?

Screw them. You want to treat Bama fans like that, we're HAPPY to return the favor.

Texas knew what they were doing. Screw 'em.
