CBS is still butt hurt from being fired by the SEC.

The way CBS tried to question Alabama’s victory by constantly contesting that 4th down catch was absolutely ridiculous. No other broadcast team or broadcaster would do that. I always joked about “Commercials Before Sports” and Gary could annoy me, but generally enjoyed the CBS broadcast. But after yesterday and the AU game, good riddance.

No, We want Texas. Shut them the hell up. But either way, it will be Georgia/ Alabama in the championship game.

the 12 team playoff will probably finish off CFB. NIL and the portal have taken a toll, but an all SEC championship most years will cause interest to wane in most other parts of the country as they slowly realize they can’t compete.

Herbstreit was just on NFL Sunday Countdown and he said the that the 4 that should be in are Michigan, Washington, Texas and Alabama. He said, however, he thinks the committee will do the opposite and put in Florida state. But he said Florida State is clearly not one of the best 4 best teams in the country after watching them these last 2 weeks.

The entire best vs most deserving discussion is tiring. The Selection Committee’s charter on their website literally says their job is to select the best 4 teams. It is obvious at this point they wrote an official looking charter and just d o whatever they want each year/take the path of least resistance. The committee has ruined the post season and is the worst decision ever. Why put this human element in charge? The old BCS formula worked just fine.

I think they go in order, starting with #1

I think they make a big production about what teams are going to what bowls.....discuss matchups in the big bowls and playoffs. If Bama's logo comes up at #5 before they reveal the top 4.....I'm turning the tv off.

I don't know if they'll reveal #1 first or last but the only one that matters to Bama is #3. If #3 is FSU then Bama is out but if #3 is Texas then Bama is in.

I'd expect ESPN, for this particular selection show......to go from the bottom up, up to #7. Then they'll show #1 and #2 and maybe #6

Essentially penalizing them for having to dig deep at QB is going to make the ACC flip the table and I’m here for it lol.

All you have to do is read the mission statement. They are supposed to select the best teams and FSU ain’t one of them precisely for the reason you have highlighted.
