Bama Game Thread: We're in! - College Football Playoff (CFP) Selection Show (12/3/23 | ESPN | Noon ET)

What will be the EXACT order of the 2023 CFP Playoff Teams?

  • Total voters
    70
  • Poll closed .
For what it’s worth, watching and listening on several networks. FOX is very pro Bama getting in . Even Urban said it should be Bama. CBS seems hell bent on leaving out Bama . ESPN is probably 65-35 on FSU in, Bama out
And ESPN always gets their way

The college playoff selection show is 4 hours long. In years past when during all that time do the announce the final four teams? Personally a 4 hour show for this is about 3.5 hours too long.

Are you kidding me? That’s crazy. One hour should be plenty. I get they have 41 bowls to announce but they can zip through the first 35 of them. Do they really think people are going to turn off the NFL unless they are a fan of one of the top six?

If an early season loss by Bama keeps them out, why would we play that type game again?

UGAly got told not to play OU and that could be a huge feather in their cap had they went to Norman and won…it apparently is for Tejas.

The SEC hate is real by the talking heads this morning. ACC vs SEC is a 6-4 record but who played who matters.

Michigan is the only might have a decent game vs Bama or UGAly.

Why is no one talking about dropping Washington out?

Very safe to assume that voters fond of Michigan (and the Big10) would prefer to play FSU.

The Bama hate is real. Does the committee really want to tick off Nick Saban by leaving this team out? I mean what is that going to do to the college football landscape if angry Nick decides to prove a point?

I refuse to accept the fact that we get left out.

No, Bama would murder Michigan. It would resemble UGA's win over them in 2021.

They can bring up the ACC vs SEC record all they want but Florida State struggled to beat Louisville (who was beaten by a team we murdered) and Florida (who was murdered by the team we beat yesterday). And when Travis played, they struggled with Boston College and Miami.

If they get in over us, then heads need to roll.

The only quality win was lsu. They got beat by Tenn. The other wins that I can think of were unranked vandy, South Carolina, and A&M.
