Every time I listen to The Cure it always takes me back to a period in my life when I did kind of a reset. It was 1989 and I re-located to Naples, Fl to work as a full time gardener for a man who was one of the founders of cable TV. I took care of his winter home in Port Royal and the guest house property next door.
I was only there for a year and then caught on with a large corporation in sales where I worked for the next 10 years and that job helped me get my first & second home and everything else that came later.
The Cure had just released "Disintegration" and we were in the process of leaving 80's music behind. Heady times indeed......
Oh btw....the man I worked for in Naples? He later bought the original Woodstock Festival property in upstate New York. How about that?
