Speaking of Jeff Beck.....this from "Rough and Ready"......my favourite album of his. The entire group is fantastic but those keyboards by Max Middleton are just epic....

Close friend of mine actually named his daughter "Jody" because he liked the song so much.

Each day on Twitter, Drew Holcomb and his wife do a "Kitchen Covers," song. They cover various artist that they enjoy. I've really enjoyed it. Surprisingly, the one I've enjoyed the most has been "Islands in the Stream."

Isolation Listen: this is how “Rumours” is supposed to be heard.

When the new Billboard Album charts came out on April 2, 1977, there was a new #1 album in the US, "Rumours" by Fleetwood Mac.

It only stayed at #1 for 2 weeks when on April 16th, the Eagles "Hotel California" took the top spot for 5 weeks, staying there until May 21st, when "Rumours" went back to #1.

"Rumours" then stayed on top for 8 weeks until the July 16th edition of the chart when "Barry Manilow Live" took over the #1 spot.

But Barry only stayed there for one week, and on the July 23rd chart "Rumours" climbed back to the top for the next 19 weeks, until Linda Ronstadt's "Simple Dreams" LP went to the top.

Yeah, it was a big record.
