I will admit my respect for him dropped a notch when I read that.
His wife was cancer free since before he came to Bama.
He divorced in 2023, likely split before that.
He is a workaholic.
We aren’t privy to what happened internally
He met someone and is dating her.
He has custody of his kids
That’s all we know.
She’s 24 years younger.
He’s a millionaire.
And he’s an imperfect Human.
The kids seem to love him. The players as well. He has friendships that are 20+ years.
Who am I to judge him.

He made plays for us that only Amari came close to matching. That said, he’ll be lucky to make half of what he was paid by Kentucky.

Very true. But he was the best interior player we had and his improvement has been undeniable.
I said last week when people were saying we shouldn’t lose to much and might have just few spots to fill that I think most teams will have 60%+ of there players enter the portal. They might not all leave but they will use it as leverage for more money.
