We used to have something like Thanksgiving Dinner II for Christmas but about 10-12 years back we changed things up and everyone likes this better.

Prime Rib or Standing Rib Roast
Potatoes in cream sauce
Green Beans, sometimes Broccoli with lemon butter
Hot rolls
Always have a Red Velvet Cake with green colored 7 minute frosting.

What are some of your traditions?

We have a Thanksgiving re-do! :D

Diamond Dust reminded me of Christmas Eve dinner (which I love). It's a big table of finger foods. We have chicken salad croissants, BBQ chicken wings, BBQ sausages, cheese/sausage dip, macaroni salad, sausage balls, spinach dip, etc. etc.

Christmas Eve:

That's when the Smith's(Dad's side of the family) get together at my house. It's usually party food - sausage balls, hot wings, pigs in a blanket, BBQ sandwiches, etc. - that evening.

Christmas Lunch:

Again with the Smith's. It's usually baked ham and all the fixings for that one. I don't eat much at that one because...

Christmas Dinner:

It's party time with the Manzellas(Mom's side of the family). It's basically my huge Italian side of the family in one house. It's a mix of Christmas Eve and Christmas Lunch, so there's tons to have over there.

Good good times! :)
