(Job 39:19-24)

19 "Do you give the horse his strength
or clothe his neck with a flowing mane?

20 Do you make him leap like a locust,
striking terror with his proud snorting?

21 He paws fiercely, rejoicing in his strength,
and charges into the fray.

22 He laughs at fear, afraid of nothing;
he does not shy away from the sword.

23 The quiver rattles against his side,
along with the flashing spear and lance.

24 In frenzied excitement he eats up the ground;
he cannot stand still when the trumpet sounds.

It was mentioned in an article about him I believe. Like CrimsonWonder said, its a passage he draws inspiration from when he runs the ball.

He said that when he's running the ball, in his mind people are not tackling him but having to tackle Jesus. (They need to work out who is carrying the ball though).

I think it's great how he has turned his life around and will probably get drafted one day if he keeps it up. Not very many starters who average 7 a carry in the SEC go unnoticed by the NFL.

I wonder if this is the verse that also inspired him to cut off his dreads (which was during the 2007 off-season, I believe). Remember after his freshman year he made comments about getting himself right with God? I'm glad the dreads are gone, he's like a man on fire the way he's running, but mostly I'm glad that he seems to be living his life correctly.

Good for you, Mr. Coffee!

I heard part of an interview that Glenn gave to a local Christian Radio Station. Don't know when he gave the interview, but I heard it this week.

Very, very impressive!

Does my heart and soul good to hear these talented young men giving the praise and the glory for their talents to the one to which it belongs our Lord and Savior Jesus and that's exactly what Glen has done on several different occasions on different interviews. I pray that the Lord continues to bless Glen and his life. Good for you Glen!!:biggrin::BigA:
