What's your job?

I buy and sell real estate on the gulf coast (live in Orange Beach). I also write some magazine articles on the side (travel, restaurant reviews and real estate-related articles).

In my previous life, I was a TV producer in Atlanta. Graduated from UA in 1987.

MS Teacher/Basketball Coach/Softball Coach/Native American Rights Activist/Sunshine Pumper for the Tide!

I work in I.T. as a systems analyst for the animal health division of a Big Pharma company.

You could call us...."Vaccines 'R' Us". :p

It has something to do with network management, network configuration control, network administration, information protection, and warfare. Not the easiest job I've ever had (Lake Purdy dam maintenance engineer for the Birmingham Board of the Water Works) or the hardest (security manager for a weapons logistics agency with institutionally lax security and an unhealthy workng envioronment with regard to character and honesty).

What I do keeps me in front of a computer between 8 and 10 hours a day, sometimes more. For that reason alone I have more posts than some of you (less than others, of course). I'm learning some of you have responsiblities away from the computer. A relatively low post count doesn't mean your input is less valid, any more than a high post count means that it is.

Lately, I appreciate TideFans more and more for being exactly what it is:
an Alabama fans board. We are diverse, geographically dispersed, and highly eclectic. While generally speaking we are somewhat knowledgeable about some things (football in particular) our collective IQ seems to drop discernably during football season. That's OK, too.

We are currently demonstrating how to truly enjoy the chaos that is coaching turmoil.

Everybody reading this needs to remember to breath in and out.

Roll Tide, Roll.

I used to be in accounting. I am now preparing to open the first of five Firehouse Subs restaurant franchises that I own in the Northwest Atlanta area.

Love the entrepreneurial spirit. Good luck, MC. Make millions and retire early!

I'm not familiar with Firehouse Subs here in the DC area. Are they a Southern franchise? How long have they been around?
