Where will Bama be ranked?

Alabama had the most impressive win of the weekend. I see no reason why we shouldn't be in the top 15. It was total domination of yes a very good Clemson team.

I'm thinking somewhere between 14 and 20. Possibly 15...probably closer to 20.

Sadly, I dont see us getting too much love from the national folk until we get deep into the grunt of the SEC schedule.

Clempson of course
Va tech
Illinois
Plus, i think we now look better than UT, South florida, BYU, and Wisconsin. So I think we move up at least 7 spots to #14.

With UT having a game tmrw night, when will the polls come out?

When the BCS poll comes out later in the year it should help that Clemson was ranked in the top ten (or do they still count strength of schedule) and we want Clemson to go undefeated from here on out. I think Earle hit on something that may help us get some love in the polls.........Saban.

I think both polls will be real nice to us, only if it is to help hype up the GA game. I think in the 12 to 15 range.

I'd guess that clemson will fall to about 16-18 .

I think we should be ranked 12th. Nobody proved as much as we did this weekend. We were already a ranked team on 2 polls (AP and ESPN) and we just beat a team that's top 9 BADLY. Say whatever you will about how terrible the ACC or Clemson is they're going to win 10 games this year. Sometimes good teams lose big or have embarassing losses. Ask Tennessee last year, Georgia last year, Florida last year (they all embarassed each other in some manner) ask Michigan who beat Florida last year in a bowl after losing to App state and falling out of the polls.

I don't think Clemson should fall all the way out of the poll (maybe to 25) and with losses from Va Tech/Illinois it could put us up pretty high.
